Do Now on Twitter
This is an activity for you to explore current issues using social media.
Do Now is a weekly activity for you to engage and respond to current issues using social media tools like Twitter.
KQED aims to introduce 21st Century skills and add value to learning through the integration of relevant local content and new media tools and technologies. Do Now gives you a chance to practise civic engagement and digital citizenship skills while you explore ways to connect topics in your classes to the present day.
We are participating for the first time ever in a Round up: Do Now #70: Equal Playing Field for Women
How? It's easy peasy:
1. Read the brief into the topic and listen to the podcast.
2. Tweet your response to the Do Now.
TO tweet your response TO THE DO NOW, BE SURE TO BEGIN YOUR TWEET WITH @KQEDEDSPACE AND END IT WITH #KQEDDONOW
In trouble with Twitter? Watch the video below.
All your tweets are being collected by @KQEDEDSPACE under the #KQEDDONOW hashtag together with those by thousands of other students in the world.
I will let you know about your responses right here, too! Happy Tweeting!

Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult.
